| As a present to my wife and business partner, Teresa, a small 1:200 scale model of a Royal New Zealand Air Force C-130E Hercules
was built for her birthday. Teresa had flown in this type many times when she served in the RNZAF and had many fond memories of
flying in the type through the scenic terrain of her homeland.
The model was built from the Hasegawa kit and completed in the original white and grey colour scheme with the Kiwi decals
being hand painted. The completed model was mounted on a timber base and is proudly displayed in her office.
Several more RNZAF aircraft models will soon be completed to complement the HERCULES, including a 1:48 A-4K Skyhawk and 1:72
scale “Bluntie” Strikemaster.
