As a follow up to the half scale “10 Inch Signal Projector Back” artwork that Russ has done, he has for many years
wanted to make a full miniature of the Francis 10 Inch Projector. Finally he has managed to complete the moulds and this 1:10th
scale replica, which stands 20cm in height and is fully detailed, is now available. It can be completed as a standard light or can
include artwork on the back as some of the originals fitted on ships in the fleet.
It is shown here as the type fitted to an RAN FFG, with the original artwork painted onto HMAS DARWIN’s Projectors, but the
stand can be made to represent any vessel type, or simply displayed on a single pole. It can also be purchased on a number of
different bases, as a desk set, business card holder or on a simple timber base for display purposes.
